The 2024 Sentra Model Gets a Sporty Update and a Boost for Tech

Nissan announced that the Sentra will get a refresh for the 2024 model. The major change is to the exterior, but there’s also an improvement to the fuel efficiency and extra features added to the SV trim.

The Sentra has received dozens of redesigns since its introduction in 1982, but the sedan hasn’t gotten a big refresh since 2016. Let’s look at what has changed for the 2024 model.

New Look for the New Model

The most noticeable change is to the front exterior fascia; the grill is now subtle and styled similarly to the Altima, while the headlights are designed to be sleek. The wheels are also redesigned for the 16-inch and 18-inch options.

The Sentra SR trim received extra updates for the 2024 model, including extra updates to the rear fascia, giving the Sentra a lower, wider look.  The interior received a new accent stitching color, a red-orange color featured in other Nissan models.

Tech and Interior Updates for the 2024 Model

The 2024 Sentra gets a boost to fuel efficiency with the new Xtronic CVT and the added Idle Stop and Start. With the Eco driving mode, the Sentra can now get up to 39 mpg.

The SV Premium package added extra technology, including the Intelligent Around View Monitor, an 8-speaker Bose® Premium Audio System, and turn signal indicators on the side mirrors. The SR trim also added standard heated front seats.
