The Nissan Leaf Continues on it Electric Climb with the New 2024 Model

Nissan recently announced the 2024 model for their flagship electric model, the Nissan Leaf. The Leaf has been in Nissan’s lineup since 2010 and has been immensely popular in the 13 years it’s been sold. For the 2023 model, the Leaf received a face light to the exterior, and while the 2024 model didn’t change much to the exterior, the engine got a boost in battery efficiency and charging power.

Running Clean on Green Power

The electric car has an impressive driving range of 212 miles, and with the increasing network of charging stations in the U.S., your Leaf can travel further than ever before!

The S Trim’s Quick Charge Sport, the Leaf can charge up to 80% in only 40 minutes, and the SV Plus can charge up to 80% in 60 minutes. The portable charger can plug into a 120-volt or 240-volt outlet. And with the Leaf’s e-Pedal allows to driver to accelerate and slow down with the use of only one pedal.

There’s a built-in charging timer that allows the driver to set when and for how long the Leaf will charge, as well as an HVAC timer to pre-heat or pre-cool the Leaf at a specific time.

The SV Plus package also includes the ability to plan routes, customize charging settings, and more using the NissanConnect EV app.

New Features for Two Trims

The 2024 Nissan Leaf has two trim levels, the Leaf S and the Leaf SV Plus. The Leaf S comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360, automatic temperature control, 16-inch wheels, and more. The Leaf SV Plus adds ProPILOT Assist, an electric parking brake, a heated steering wheel, heated outside mirrors, six speakers, the Intelligent AroundView Monitor, 17-inch alloy wheels, and more.

The Future of Electric

With Nissan’s Ambition 2030 plan, the manufacturer plans to have 40% of its sales to be fully electric by 2030.

The 2023 Nissan Leaf is included in the tax credit and has a limited warranty for lithium-ion batteries for either eight years or 100,000 miles. Check with your dealer to see what other incentives are available for the 2024 Leaf.
